Thanks for the personal welcome from several of you, that is so nice!
I am new to sparkpeople and this forum, but not PCOS. I was diagnosed with PCOS in 1997, when I was trying to get PG with my first child. I have had three children (age 9, age 7 and a 7 month old) despite PCOS, but have had severe Gestational Diabetes with each pregnancy...so severe with the last PG that I needed to use an insulin pump for much of the pregnancy.
I have successfully lost my pregnancy weight and about another 15-20 lbs, and want to keep losing. I take metformin XR 500 mg a day. Think its too low a dosage and am curious what others are taking who are using XR.
Looking forward to getting to know you all!
I am so sorry this posted in the wrong place...can someone delete? I went into the introduction forum to post it, but it still posted to general?
