The benefits of cinnamon is that it reduces your blood sugar levels and stablizes them (so you are not spiking and crashing). You want pure cinnamon caplets. Start with 500 mg 1x a day then work up to 500 mg 2x a day. Since it is pure cinnamon, I know of no drug interactions but do not advise taking cinnamon supplements if you: 1) are on any type of diabetic meds, 2) are prone to acid reflux, heart burn or indigestion or 3) if you have diverticulosis, crohns, or severe digestive issues.
