Hey ladies- I'm a newbie, just started today! I'm going into my senior year of college and want to make sure I look good to enjoy every last minute of it! I've always been slim but ever since I started birth control, I've noticed the weight piles on more easily. The worst of it is that because I'm short ( 5/2.5) I have to really watch my weight and always feel like I'm walking on thin ice with it.
I'm currently 128 pounds, and I know that is not overweight, but I want to get back to much slimmer, trimmer, and more confident me! I want to tone my arms, flatten my stomach and sides, tone my legs, and most especially slim down and firm up the butt! I am ready and willing to everything and anything to finally get the body that I once had back!
I have attempted dieting and exercising many times, but always fall short of my goals because the diet plan and the workout weren't planned well for the outcome I wanted. My ideal weight would be 115-110 pounds, what I used to be back in the day before birth control.
I was going to just stick with home workouts instead of paying gym membership fees, and especially since, like most of you, I am working a full time job over the summer, and trying to make every second of my day count! How many times a week should someone workout, who wants to tone up while losing weight? Any and all suggestions of how to best get there would be most appreciated! I've been using Jillian Michaels workouts such as 30 day shred and 6 week 6 pack that are exhausting and seem effective. Any other suggestions for good calorie burner workouts? Also, I've always wondered, when is the best time to workout- in the morning or at night? And for how long? I've been trying to do at least an hour.
Thanks for reading ladies and any and all suggestions would be most appreciated!! :)
