I've often read that hemp powder is a great form of healthy protein and fiber, plus omega-3's and lots of other great stuff. So I spent some of my hard-earned money on Trader Joe's Hemp Protein Powder, in vanilla & chocolate, I mixed some of it w/ almond milk and.....well, it doesn't taste bad at all, but I feel the need the chew it! It's a bit "saw-dusty". I'm not sure drinking it w/ almond milk is the best delivery system. I'd love to know the best way to utilize this, in conjunction w/ a low-carb diet----any suggestions?
