It depends on what you mean. Unless you are trying to break a plateau by carb cycling to the top and bottom of your carb range I usually don't consider it to be a good idea. If you are deciding to go off plan on the weekends for "free" days I have found this usually just leads to cravings, stalls, weight gains.
