Yes I've been craving peanut butter way too much. Today I'm staying away from it. For a while it worked well to have 2 tablespoons on orrowheat thins or something else but then it got totally out of control. Got to give it up for a while.

I did it! I did my metric century. The one thing that comes to mind to say is

OWWWWW!!!!!


OK. Once I recover, this will probably feel good. Checking off a goal I've been working toward all summer certainly feels good.

I am going to get my exercise in. Did okay on my diet until the afternoon and then messed up. Got part of my other goals done.

I'm kind of lost as to what to focus on today. Weird, dreary morning. Last day at work (I thought yesterday was, until halfway through the day my boss told a group of people that Friday would be. Won't complain about it.) On my way to the OBGYN in a few minutes - something to sooooooooooo look forward to. LOL

I need a not too difficult exercise for today. I am too out of shape. I am going to change that, but I will start slowly.

My eating has been terrible this week. I have stuck pretty much to my exercise goals. One day I didn't get 10k steps in but other days I've gone significantly over so overall I think I'm doing okay with that. Just need to get back on track with the eating..

Yesterday, I did 50 miles on my bike. I was trying to get a good feel for how ready I was for my metric century. I made the 50 miles, but I found still have a ways to go to be ready. And I'm hurting a bit today (leg cramps).

Actually, I'm going to have my son move my stationary bike into a corner of the living room next time he comes over. That way I can ride that on the days that it's raining and some days when I just don't feel like going out.

Other than that, just to stay on (or get back on) program and continue! I've not done too well the past several days........ :o(

I am going to get back up to doing at least 10,000 steps a day, walking or running or something to do it. Lately I've been getting stuck about 8,000. I want to get my cardio going more than it is too now.

I will be consistent in exercising 5 days a week, even if some of it is doing Wii Fit Plus or a yoga DVD. I don't know how to do templates or anything, so I guess I'll just track it under fitness.

I've been planning a metric century on my bike and September is the month I'm either going to get it done or it will have to be put off until next year. So I guess I need to plan, train and go for it. Sounds pretty challenging since this summer really did not go the way I expected.

This message post is for those who would like to participate in a daily challenge for the month of September.

In the past we have had daily challenges for the months of September though May but as as time goes by people get busy and lose interest in the challenges so I have found it best not to bother with specific daily challenges until after the holidays are over and the new year starts. At that time nearly everyone will be on board to lose weight.

In the mean time, those of us who would like to get control before the holidays can choose a challenge for ourselves and work on it daily. These challenges can be in regard to diet, water, exercise, stress, sleep, etc. Whatever you need to work on.

Try to achieve the right balance by making it challenging but not overwhelming. Choose the challenge that will benefit you the most and really apply yourself to it.

Make yourself a template if you like and check in daily or weekly and post your progress on this page as to how you are doing.
