I have to keep in mind that I"m one of those supercharged people. I know someone else that's on a Bodymedia Facebook group and she has same problem....in fact we are both on our 4th replacement right now and started wearing it in April. I go through watches and all that quickly too. Fortunately I have not blown out any lightbulbs yet but I worked with someone that did, just by walking by them. I forgot what they did to to neutralize the effect.

It's crazy, it shouldn't be draining that fast and that much. I wear mine 23+ hours a day and charge it daily; it's rare for it to go below 65-70%, and it charges completely in under an hour even when it's at its lowest. I charge mine via the USB port on my computer; I have a plug that works from a wall outlet, but I almost never charge it that way since I want to see the data. I'm sorry you've had so much trouble with yours; wish I had more to suggest to help resolve it.

No, to be honest, I disabled my bluetooth a couple of months ago and never even repaired it with my device. For some reason the bluetooth was interfering with a lot of my workout apps on the iPhone so I'm not sure why my battery started draining so much.

Do you have Bluetooth turned on on your phone all the time? It sounds like your armband is staying connected even though you don't look at it. You might try going into the app on your phone to see if it shows as connected immediately. I have an Android phone, and my app has an option to disconnect, not sure if the iPhone app does or not.

I have the link but don't know why as I never use the bluetooth on my iPhone anyway so not sure why it drains that quickly.

Do you have the Link model? Are you leaving the bluetooth connection active all the time? That could be why your battery level is dropping fast. It should only take that long the first time you charge it when it is really low.

Well since the upgrade on the firmware it's taking more than 3 hours to charge my armband. Is anyone else having issues? This is like my 4th device since April. I can't keep going through replacements. It seems that every device I got was defective in one way or another.

I usually charge mine while in the shower and it takes less than 15 minutes. The only time it really takes a long time to charge is when you first get it. I don't think mine has gone below 80% if I charge every day at the same time in the morning. The only time I had an issue was during Hurricane Sandy when I had to charge it at work. I had gone 1 1/2 days but even then it was still around 70% and was done in about 15-20 minutes

I doubt that it was really down to 65% if you charged about 12 hours before, but that still seems odd. Mine usually goes down to about 70%-80% after 24 hours, and it charges fully fairly quickly (in less than a half hour). I've never paid close attention to exactly how long it takes since I plug it in shortly after I get up, and by the time I'm dressed for the gym and eat, it's fully charged. I hope you don't have to go through another replacement, too!

I charged my device last night at 7PM. I didn't charge again until 7:30 this morning. When I plugged in the device it was flashing amber and I got a notification that it was at 65% battery level. Then literally 5 seconds later the device was charging green. Surely the device didn't get fully charged that quickly did it? I'm not sure since I had problems with my first two devices. I sure hope I don't have to go through another replacement.
