Yea I thought for awhile they would have teamed up as there was an ad and even a discount price offered here on SP for BMF. I personally don't like MFP. Maybe it's just because I'm too used to SP. Well I got the 2nd replacement last night. The battery was acting up and draining of life in less than 12 hours. So far the new one is doing good. Although maybe I shouldn't say anything and jinx myself.

Hopefully that will help (sorry to be responding so late--crazy work schedule!). I agree, I wish SP and BodyMedia would integrate. I thought that was in the works based on what I heard from someone at BodyMedia, but with SP integrating with FitBit and BodyMedia integrating with My Fitness Pal, that may not happen now. Too bad; I love SparkPeople but I'm not going to switch devices and vice versa with BodyMedia, I'm not going to switch to My Fitness Pal.

Yea I know. Well he did refer me to a firmware (rolled back) that may help with the device, so I'll see if that does any good. I wish they would have integrated with Spark People instead of My Fitness Pal. I have a hard time navigating MFP...although I know Spark People has to want to integrate as well.

It's just a shame that you've had so much trouble with yours; I'm really dependent on the feedback from mine to get me moving more. Other than some issues with getting things linked to my Android phone when I first got mine, I have had very few problems. There CS was not extremely helpful at first ("That's not a supported device"), but when I pressed things they gave me enough info that I could get things working.

That's ok. I appreciate you listening and advice. Fortunately this is the only problem now with my replacement so I guess I can't complain too much. Technology doesn't like me too much. lol

That makes sense, too 'moist' and I suppose it would have problems, too. I don't know why you're having all these problems; wish I had better suggestions for you!

I had this problem when I got this replacement and talked to Kellee in CS and she told me I needed to let it dry completely and give it 20 minutes or so. My skin is oily so a little damp seems like it's very wet

That's very strange. Have you tried lightly dampening the sensors on the back to make sure it's getting a good connection on your body? I work out at the gym in the morning, take mine off to shower, put it back on while my skin is still slightly damp, and it usually registers almost instantly. Is there a reason why you wait 20 minutes to put it back on? You don't want to put it on while you're dripping wet, but damp should be okay.

I talked with CS at Bodymedia but of course all they'll do is give you the standard instructions on how to wear the thing. Here's my problem: I had my device fully charged. I then hopped into the shower and waited 20 minutes after I got out of shower before putting on. After 20 minutes of wearing it the device still wouldn't register being on my body. So I had to take it off and sync again (2nd time in an hour) in order for it to go back on my arm and register. This is really frustrating as I like to swim at the gym and then stay afterwards to do Zumba. I can't be carrying a laptop with me to sync between the two just so I can calculate my Zumba. And as usual CS is no help in this matter. Any ideas what's happening here? Thanks.
