Congratulations on your purchases! When I track my workouts, I will wear a heart rate monitor or my BodyBugg so that I can get an accurate burn. If you workout to the DVDs I mentioned, I'd probably say enter it as Cross Training (with the understanding that the burn Spark gives you might not be accurate) but if you're interested in an accurate burn, wait until you get your HRM and enter the values manually

I went on a splurge today! I bought a gold gym power spin bike, a golds gym 10lb kettle bell and some wrist weights!!

So now I need to research on some workouts. How do I log them? I did 3 minutes of the kettlebell swing. And my gut was screaming haha, but this was last after my other workouts!

Hey there - kettlebell workouts are amazing!! I love them!! They work your whole body (as long as your form is solid) and you'll get good strength training results with cardio as well.

I am currently doing a "10,000 kettlebell swings challenge" for the month of February. But if you're new to Kettlebells, you should look into a program as it will help you learn all the different moves you can do with a kettlebell and help you perfect your form. Kettleworx is a good one - and I'd recommend starting with between a 5 & 10 pounder depending on your current strength levels.

Here's the link for it:

Bob Harper also released some Kettlebell workouts that are really good (you can puchase the DVDs separate from the bells) and here's the link for those. You don't have to buy them online either, I found these ones at Target

Also, I got my kettlebells in a set (it was cheaper that way) - so I've got varying sizes to work up towards. Here's one similar to the one I found:

Hope this helps and if you have any additional questions, don't hesitate to ask!

What all do you do? Does it work your core?

I seen that REEKU731 posted about kettlebell swings. What weight do you start out with? I am interested in trying these.
