Hey there - kettlebell workouts are amazing!! I love them!! They work your whole body (as long as your form is solid) and you'll get good strength training results with cardio as well.
I am currently doing a "10,000 kettlebell swings challenge" for the month of February. But if you're new to Kettlebells, you should look into a program as it will help you learn all the different moves you can do with a kettlebell and help you perfect your form. Kettleworx is a good one - and I'd recommend starting with between a 5 & 10 pounder depending on your current strength levels.
Here's the link for it: www.kettleworx.com/cgi-bin/store/cart/List
Bob Harper also released some Kettlebell workouts that are really good (you can puchase the DVDs separate from the bells) and here's the link for those. You don't have to buy them online either, I found these ones at Target www.amazon.com/Bob-Harper-Kettlebell-Sculp
Also, I got my kettlebells in a set (it was cheaper that way) - so I've got varying sizes to work up towards. Here's one similar to the one I found: www.amazon.com/Marcy-VKBS50-50-Pound-Kettl
Hope this helps and if you have any additional questions, don't hesitate to ask!
