I have it the newer one with bluetooth but I just got it on Monday so I am still learning how to use it. You do have to open the app to see what's happening on your body bugg. I do like the fact if you leave the app open and run the workout part it will tell you what you are burning and how long you have been doing that. Sorry I can't help much more than that I am still learning!

I apologize, I missed your question when you first posted it. Unfortunately I can't help on this one as I don't have the bluetooth version, hope you were able to find out what you needed.

Do you use the bluetooth sync? Are you able to see daily progress w/o the use of a display or the app. w/o plugging in the bodymedia consistantly?
