UP is a band that goes on your wrist. You remove the cap on the end and plug it into the headphone jack of your iPod, iPad, or iPhone and sync it using their app. It tracks how active you are throughout the day, steps taken, calories, when you eat (you take a pic when you eat w/ the app and it adds It to your timeline graph. It also asks you 2 hours later how the meal made u feel.) it tracks when you sleep, how long, if it's light sleep or deep sleep. There is also a workout mode and the battery is supposed to last 10 days... Then you recharge it for an hour using your computer.
Ive had mine for a few weeks now... I'm hearing some people having battery issues, but mine is fine... So far. Anybody else have this.... I'm new to the whole fitness tracking lifestyle... So if bodybug... Fitbit... Or any other health tracking device is any better, let me know...
So far I am very pleased by the price and effectiveness of this thing.... Especially the sleep tracking feature. Since I'm always on my feet at work... It is amazing to actually know how many steps I take within the workday.. Is always great evidence to show them the time log on my iPod/iPad to show them Im not lazy XD.
