Even on a very sedentary day for me I burn around 2500-3500. On an active day 4000-5500. It depends on your activity level and BMI. A heavier person burns more resting than lighter person and similarly a muscular person burns more than a slender person. Within a week od so you will have figured out your average burn. Best of luck
If you fail, it's because you took a chance.
If you succeed, it's because you grasped an opportunity!
You can also check the online settings to make sure that your stats (age, gender, height, weight, left/right handed) are correct. I use body media; the data that body bugg asks for may be different. If you accidently left incorrect information, it will be using that in its calculations.
Gender also makes a big difference. The best day I have had (at a convention with walking around constantly) was about 3200, and I normally range around 2000-2400, but a male would have gotten a much higher rate for the same activity.
*edit* I peeked at your page, including the exercise done for yesterday. With that much done, I would think your burn is definitely possible.

Depends on how active you are. The bodybugg will estimatee your calorie burn for any time you identified as normal waking hours that it was not on your arm based on what you tell it you were doing during that time, if that makes sense. Give it a few days to see what an average day is like, then you will have a better idea of how to adjust. Good luck!

I just started wearing the bug this morning. I uploaded it when I got home this evening. I put it on about 6 am and uploaded a little before midnight. Total calories burned for the day was 5475. My calorie intake was 2501. For a deficit of 2974. Does that sound about right for a 1 day burn?
