Hi, I've been a member for a while, but haven't really committed to weight loss or contributed here until this month.
I'm definitely up for this challenge. My measurements might be a little off for the first week, since I didn't measure on July 31 - I'll have to do it tomorrow morning.

One thing I would suggest is to measure ourselves (arm, waist, hips, neck) on 31July. Post it in the beginning with all our other stats. That way we can check on each others progress? What do you all think?

Both sounds good, although I still need to check on the vigorous activity on my BB - not sure if that's something it tracks...... I'm uploading today (for sure this time!) and will find out. Either way, I think your ideas are great! DC

How about we do a bit of both?
First we publish how much moderate activity and then vigorous activity. Next we publish our intake, calories, sugar, fiber, protein, etc.
End the week with inches lost?
What do you all think? If we record our stats from our GWF/BB and record what we're eating it'll take just a bit to enter this all in.

How about a nutrition challenge. Tracking more accurately, eating cleaner food, going vegetarian a day or more per week, diminish sugar intake...

Hello MSDESERTRODENT - I think that's a great idea. I'll have to check & see if my BB tracks vigorous activity - my digital display only shows moderate activity and I always hit that goal, but either way it sounds like a good idea. DC

How about challenging ourselves to get a certain amount/level of vigorous activity? I know for me I almost always hit my goal for moderate activity but I usually NEVER make it for vigorous.

I sync daily - get panicky when I don't (realized that when I left the USB at home on a trip to NYC in January, then hit blizzards and was stuck for another day in NY -now I have another cord that stays in my laptop case). I'd like to see something that challenges us with calories burned/fitness minutes for the day.

We're not talking about team goals; this is for the monthly challenge

Hello - it's so good to talk to people who know what BB's & GWF's are, and that I don't have to convince it's an awesome gadget (which it is of course). I wear my BB religiously, but I upload inconsistently - probably because I have food tracking anxiety! I used to log every thing I put in my mouth, weighing everything. Now, I HATE to log my food, and haven't done so regularly for months.
I'd like to get back on track - needless to say I'm making losing the last few pounds harder to lose than I need to - I was super successful when I was doing both, but now.....sigh
So, long post short, anything that'll get me tracking food again would be great. I always hit all my other goals - calorie burn, steps, moderate activity, but would like to refocus on that last item. Thanks for asking! Have a good one, DC

Maybe a team goal of exceeding our calorie burn or daily steps at least 3x a week. That might push us to work just a little harder these days.

Okay all. We're approaching August. It's about to be a fresh start for the kids returning to school so how about we start with our own fresh start!! Anyone have any ideas for a challenge using our GWF's or BB's? Like the title says ANY IDEA is welcome! What would work for you? Just remember, the goal here is to stay accountabile, get moving, and eat better. I know for me I plug in my GWF every other day so that's how often I get my stats. What do you find the most helpful when wearing your GWF or BB? I know for me it's the feedback I get. So let's hear it!! Tamara
