I wear mine just about all the time. I take it off when I shower plus one or two nights a week when I sleep. I've had a few folks ask me about it, but most people probably think it's an MP3 device.

I wear mine all day. There is a huge difference from when I wasn't wearing it 24 hours to just during the day.

I burn about 500 - 800 more calories that I thought I did.

Its unnatractive, but kinda cool looking at the same time. People always ask what it is. I tell them its a calorie counter/burner and pedometer. They're like ohhhh ... weirded out. Cause I look like I don't need to keep track of my calories to lose weight. For me its to maintain my weight and make sure I am eating enough to make up for what I burn ....

anyways though.

When I sleep and all day. Except when I am showering or if its raining outside when I workout outside.

yes i started wearing it everyday now, and today you can see it, so annette at the front desk asked what it was and i told her it was my gps tracking device, my parole office makes me wear it and i had the strangest looks from it, it was quite funny. then i explained what it does and she wanted one. so i had to tell her where she can get one and about how much it is, she wasn't too thrilled afterwards.

Tee hee...I actually heard one person say it was so his PO could track his movements, when he was asked what it was...but he then explained the actual use. I've told a few people that I wear it so the Mother Ship can find me...

I've been wearing it on my right only, and nearly all the time, except I think I'll start taking it off for bed because I'm starting to get some irritation from the strap itself. Today at work I had to get a little gauze pad and put under part of the strap it was hurting and burning.

wow, thank you for your great responses, i am probably going to start wearing it more often now. when i first got the bugg, i wore it to bed a couple of times, but after wearing it constantly, i found that my arm broke out a lot. so i had to wear it on my left arm, but it is so weird feeling on that arm since i am used to it on my right arm.

i need to figure out my steps and how much i burn at work again, i haven't worn it at work for about a month, so i am going to start wearing it again.

thank you again for the great help and answers regarding the bugg.

It's so funny. I thought cool people knew I was doing all I can do get this weight off. But then one day someone asked me if it was a court appointed thing like they give to people in jail....lol....lol Oh my God I laughed I said do you mean the ankle tracking thing....lol...lol So funny never thought of that one....lol So now when I get looks I think there thinking that. But have never had anyone come right out and ask me but that one person. I tried wearing my to bed once and it was to uncomfortable. So i just wear it all day and take it off for showers.

Now, there is a good question. do you wear it on the right arm all the time, or do you switch to the left occassionally? I wear mine on the left at least one day a week, and haven't seen any appreciable difference in tracking.

Okay...I wear mine all day...However...

1. I switch it to the left arm when I go to bed
2. I take it off for showers
3. I don't wear it on Sundays

It doesn't really matter what I'm wearing. If anyone sees it they assume it is an MP3 player.

I wear it all the time as well, other than in the shower. Yes, I sleep with it too. Today I have on a sleeveless dress. I forget it's on most of the time, and will gladly answer questions when people ask about it. My only wish is that it didn't have the 24hour fitness logo on it! I work out at LA fitness and would prefer not to advertise the competition.

I wear mine all the time. I found that when I wore it to work people asked me about it the first couple of days but then nobody was really interested. Now I wear it whether my clothes cover it or not unless I have an off-site meeting then I wear a blazer that covers it or I'll take it off for a bit. To me it was more important to have an accurate reading than to worry what others thought. Now I only take it off for sleep a couple of nights a week because I found that wearing it constantly made rub marks on my arm some nights.

I wear mine ALL day except for showers, and most days I take it off at night. I'm a high school teacher, so I get tons of questions from students about it, not so much from my co-workers. The students think it's pretty cool. I honestly don't mind if it shows. It may not be the prettiest thing to look at, but it's for ME not the public and quite honestly, I'm the one I'm trying to lose weight for. If I don't wear it 24/7, I don't really know my true burn rate.

JMO, but I would feel that I was wasting my money by not wearing it for 8-9 hours a day when I may be active.

Usually I wear mine all the time unless I'm in the shower. I wear it to work and wear shirts with sleeves that will cover it. I understand where you're coming from, though. I'm uncomfortable with it showing, too so I try to make sure to keep it covered.

i am just curious, i stopped wearing my bodybugg at work cuz it is not attractive and does not look good on my arm. if i have a shirt that will cover the body bugg i will wear it. especially when i wear a sundress, the bodybugg just stands out like a sore thumb. so i was curious what anyone else does? i do wear it as soon as i leave work because i am usually on my way to the gym, so i wear it there.
