I use to think my BMR was 1900. So in the back of my head I was trying to do the math. BMR minus calories eaten today plus the calories burned to see what my calorie deficit was for the day. But I checked it recently to discover is was 1604 calories. I was way off. If you have not checked lately you may want to check to see where you are. It changes as your weight changes.
