Hi all, just to let you know I did post the April Fitness challenge under the

Daily Goals Forum. I will contact SOVTWALKER to send a team email about this,

and place a "sticky" on it. Go in to copy & paste, and then you can edit each time

you post.

SOVTWALKER, oh, I didn't know you could look at leaders boards for the team. It's convenient that SP keeps track and does the work for us.

Personally I find the latter format easier, but I'm up for however everyone else wants to do it.

ATHLETE35, if we enter our fitness minutes in the tracker, there is a way to see the month to date totals. From this page if you look down the right side to where it says team stats, then click on "See Team Leaders" you can see how everyone is doing. It will first take you to the SparkPoints totals and then you need to click on "See Fitness MInutes Leaderboards". Of course it will show everyone on the team whether they are participating in the challenge or not.

I don't think I can create a trophy, but I can give SparkGoodies to the challenge leaders. This might be just what I need to get me moving more!

Here are some suggestions:

On another team I'm on we picked the number of days to work out each week; the number of minutes for each workout; the total minutes for the the month that adds up to; the total minues.

3 / 100 / 1200 / 1200


3 days per week; 100 min. each workout; equals 1200 workouts per month; so you start with 1200 min. After each workout you go back in and subtract from your 1200 min.
The first 3 numbers stay the same.

If I worked out 100 min. on April 1st, the would edit to say: 3 / 100 / 1200 / 1100

OR we could just post the days of the week, and enter our workout numbers:

April
1 - 100
2 - 0
3 - 100
4 - 40

then add up your numbers at the end of each week, and final total at end of the month.

Sounds good to me. We have similar challengeson 2 other teams I'm on, and co-leader of one of them.

If you can get people to join the challenge, it is a great motivator !!

I was thinking we could do a Sparks fitness minutes challenge for April. Spring is here, and I can't think of any greater motivator than the sun to go out and do something. I'm not sure if SOVTWALKER as the group leader can create a trophy, but either way I think it could fun. We could help keep each other motivated, and get healthier and lose that weight!
