I am currently up to my elbows in sunflower seeds. I am absolutely amazed at the amount of food that they produce for the space.
After removing the black seeds, I am soaking them in salt water and then toasting them in the oven for 30 minutes. When they cool, I am going to throw them in freezer bags and store them in the freezer.
I've watched a few videos on YouTube about making sunflower sprouts. I think that I will try this at some point down the road. Is there anything that I should or should not be doing to my seeds at this point in order to make sprouting possible later?
