If you happen to have old hose, that aren't completely split open, you can drill some holes in it, put it below where the roots of your plans will be, put the end of the hose into/onto a two liter bottle that has the bottom removed and facing the sky, so water can fill it, if it rains or if lack of rain you can fill it, it will slowly empty through the holes to water a number of plants, depending on lengths of hose you have.
If you don't have enough/any hose, you can do the same with 1 liter bottle, in the middle of four plants, and it will relief some of the pressure/cost of you needing to water often.
