I must admit I always keep the little plastic pots you get when you buy seedlings etc from the plant farm, I have a shelf in my shed with all sizes of pots for replanting and seeding. I also use egg cartons for seeds, the ones here in Australia (not sure what eggs come in, in the US) are made of recycled cardboard so they are biodegradable and can be put straight into the ground.

Pinterest has some good ideas too. One person used egg shells. I thought "how clever" but I keep forgetting to try it.
