I thought mine was simple as well. I live in the beautiful hamlet of Flowerdale here in Australia and my first name is Juleen or Jules, so I embroidered it a bit and went for Jewel. It's my moniker all over the place, on Yahoo, Gmail and goodness knows where else.

My name away from this keyboard is Tammy Lougheed. My screen name comes from when I was in cooking school. I was also into chatting at the time too. One day at school, I was very tired one day, it was getting close to lunch serving time so I moved all my stuff over to one of the stoves and for the life of me can't remember turning on the heat for the frying pan. But I walked away waiting for a chef instructor to get me a bottle of mineral water. I gave up and went to get my stuff going but it was too crowded, another instructor told me not to use that pan, well I put it at another stove, threw in 80 grams of butter and poof, there was a puff of smoke and then flames. A third instructor put out the fire with a sheet pan and told me to get another pan and get my work done. I did have to scrub all that burnt butter off later, lesson learned.

That night I was chatting with one of my regular chat buddies and he called me a crazy cook. Well that night I went looking to register "crazycook" as a chat name on yahoo, but it was taken, so added "ndn" as a shortened form of Indian, for the fact I am part Native American. I think it kinda describes me too because only someone crazy would take 14 months of Professional Cook Training, get training to be a fine dining cook, get a Professional Cook Training Certificate, then become a School Cook.

I used to have very long hair growing up and I love the fairy tale Rapunzel. Since Rapunzel was taken, my daughter changed mine to rapunzel53. That was many years ago and now I use it when I need a screen name. My real name is Dipti Amin.

I am from SW Wisconsin, I live near Prairie du Chien, I am only about 25 miles from Iowa, 1 1/2 from Minnesota and Illinios. It is a wonderful area. Lots of rolling hills. The colors right nowf are great!!! The wind is starting to take the leaves off the trees.

Cute stories! Mine is because I relate so much to wolves in particular, animals in general. I have always loved them and see them as a microcosm of what a family should be. I guess that's why I have 3 collies, they are my little wolf pack, along with my husband, 4 kids and a cat.

I think we are related Patti! I have the same habits, I am espically a cloud person. My real name is June Williams. When I was a little girl my cousin, whom I adore was like a big brother to me and he still is. He always called me Nuggy and he still does, his nic name is Boots. So for many years now it has been Boots and Nuggy, Nuggy and Boots. I just added the Miss and connected it to Nuggy to come up with Missnuggy. :) A more popular nic name that I have that allot of people call me is June Bug.

I have often wondered how and why we picked the Spark Name we have.

I was Geminisky but every one thought that was my last name. So I put a hyphen in it between Gemini and Sky.
Why Gemini-Sky?
Well, I'm a Gemini (and Italian and German...My Poor Hubby !!!!) and I find myself often, looking up at the Sky...What's the weather? What do the clouds look like? Can I find any figures or faces in the clouds? Looking at Constellations. Falling Stars !
What kind of bird is that flying over head ? Taking Pic's of the Sunrises.
I guess I'm a Sky Child !
