I put them in my compost & did know about some of the other ideas. I will definitely try putting them in the ground when planting tomatoes next year. Thanks for the info.

Great link!! If you do give them to your chickens, make sure they are crushed up finely. Chickens can get a taste (and a look) for egg shells and before you know it they are picking at eggs in the nest.

I either toss them in compost pile or microwave and crush them and keep in a jar for my vegetable garden to deter snails.

I toss them in the compost also but have never rinsed them....hmmm.

My DH puts them in the compost, but rinses them first because he says too much protein is not good for the compost.

Great website.... great ideas, I will try some of the things with consider the next time I cut myself or get a bite or anything that needs to have immediate attention, better than antibiotic cream and a bandage

I have heard of most of these beforeand even tried one or two......

Once as a teanager, I had a very painful swollen finger and I was told to put the membrane of the egg on it. As the membrane dried, it drew out the infection so the finger could heal.
