Thanks, I have been so stressed the past while, not only the 3 years I worked under this person, but the past few weeks when I was ready to not re-sign my contract, and to start looking for new work. I am starting to de-stress now. The last week I worked had to be the worst, as my letter was in and as I found out Wednesday she knew there were letters about her. I also made deal with 2 co-workers if there was yelling, one of us would make a call.I had my son keeping his ear open for any yelling, if he heard it then he had instructions on who to phone, how bad was than pulling my 14 yr old into all this.
I am less stressed now. I can tell, I am drinking way less coffee, I made my second cup this morning but didn't drink it until 2. Made an awesome Iced Coffee for after my workout. Me an my son went for a walk this afternoon when the girls were away at Girl's Group. I also made a deal with the kids that we would start walking in the mornings after dad has gone to work, it won't be so hot, but we will have to use bug spray.

Was that the title or did you think we wouldn't like you reporting the abuse you were taking from your boss ? Not me...No Bashing Here !!!! So Glad you and the others stepped up and defended yourselves ...
Don't bash me if you aren't happy, but my boss was let go. After 3 years of getting yelled at, the staff had put up with enough, and we finally went to higher-ups. More than half of us wrote letters, we had 2 quit this year, and these were people who worked there from the start (8 yrs). It was at the point that almost all the staff were looking for, or thinking of looking for new jobs, myself included. I was ready to leave my profession not only my position. It is hard to work under the conditions we did, where one little comment could send her off the deep end. I am happy that is over with. I hope a lesson was learned by the higher-ups to listen when someone makes a verbal complaint, to dig a little, not to brush it aside.
Sorry, been hiding again because I haven't been exercising or doing any preserving. I am getting local strawberries this weekend. I have an order in with a store in town, they sell local fruits by the case when in-season. Since they are in the part of town we frequent it is easier for me to order through them, then try and and track down someone to buy from and travel to pick it up. Plus I just started my summer vacation, so I am kinda just resting up and doing nothing. Been a stressful few weeks at work, but today's news made my day.
