I am still snowed in so did not go to church. I listened to good music and the Bible on tape (not buying CDs as long as the tapes keep working).
I did dishes (no dishwasher) and added some bleach because a sponge smelled soured, then made raisin apple cinnamon oatmeal and tea for a late breakfast.
Worked on updating a support list for one of my teams and listened to FlyLady on Blog Talk Radio.
Watched Sarah Palin's tea party convention speech on C-Span.
Now I'm about to put away the dishes that have dried in the dish drainer, then put a ham in one crockpot, and cubed steaks in the other for beef stew.
After those get started I'll clean out the fridge, and do dishes from the fridge and from making the two crock pot dishes.
For supper I'm having leftover homemade spaghetti sauce over pasta, it turned out really good with tomatos, black olives, garlic, onion, green pepper, mushrooms, and 93% ground beef in it. Yum! Side of fresh cooked cauliflower and broccoli, and green salad with Italian onions and olives, homemade Italian oil & vinegar dressing, with garlic toast.
I'll also be working to shovel out my car, 15 mins at a time before dark, I'm getting SparkPoints for the shoveling!
And am doing FlyLady decluttering of the bedroom, 15 mins every hour OR every other hour.
I'm also prepping veggies today so they are ready to eat in the fridge, and making a big green salad with Romaine and green leaf, also tabouli salad with curly parsley, guacamole as the avocados are ripe and I have cilantro, and albacore tuna salad. I got a very nice head of Nappa cabbage, so will make that into a Ramen noodle/cabbage salad with sunflower seeds and broccoli with balsamic vinegar.
The stew and ham are heavier so later tonight I'm going to make chicken veggie crock pot soup for the upcoming week. I don't put any rice noodles, or potatos in it until the day I actually reheat it to eat it, so each time I have it it's a little different because I changed it up from the day before.
I'll make potato ham chowder crockpot soup on Monday with some of the leftover ham, and split pea with ham later in the week, probably Thurs since that's grocery day, and freeze the rest of the ham.
So by tomorrow night I'll have a week's+ worth of homemade food ready, with all the cooking and cleaning up already done, yippee! A full day!
Will be all set, plenty of healthy stuff and sides! We are supposed to get with Round 2 of winter weather on Tuesday. Not 3.5 ft this time. Less snow but there will probably still be road closures and power outages like there were this time.
