We planted this tree a few years ago from a bare root whip, and this is the first year it has had apples. I'm not sure they're going to ripen before it freezes! It's starting to get cold, and the high is suppose to be about 45 on Saturday. I need to check the low.
This has been a strange year weather wise; it took forever to get warm here, but I'm just wondering if any of you have a Honey Crisp Apple and if it has ripened yet? We're a zone 5, and this tree is suppose to be okay in zone 5, but maybe it was a misprint in the catalog!
Anyone have some advice for me?
