I love the judgement free idea!
How odd that they have pizza night. Maybe Subway night would be better.

Today will be my 5th day going. I have been doing 2 days of hard workout upper and lower body strenght training and then taking a day off. This gym is pretty good because it planet fitness and they have a judgement free zone. They had pizza night yesterday where they buy boxes and boxes of pizza for patron to enjoy and I didnt feel like taking a slice. That was a good temptation test on my part. Today in the morning if you went to work out would have been bagel tuesday. I like not hearing the loud grunts and weights slamming down. Its a great atmosphere where people go to just work out.

10 minutes is a great place to start. The two times that I've been the most consistent were when I'd started small (5-10 min).
I love the "ambiance" of people working toward goals together, like at a gym or here on Spark!

You can get a good workout in with 10 mins of cardio. But remember that 10 mins is better than 0 mins. So great job!.. I always like to go to the gym because all the people in there working hard really does push me to work just as hard. Maybe even harder

Thanks everyone. I have been to the gym two days now with my 3rd day being today. I can feel my upper body muscle feeling tighter today. So day one I did upper body strength training and then some cardio. Yesterday I did some lower body strength training and cardio. I am only able to do about 10 minutues worth of cardio but I am trying to work that number up in the days and weeks to come.

Thanks. today will be my first day going. I packed my workout clothes this morning and as soon as I get off work and get to the park and ride which is the bus stop parking area from downtown to the suburbs I will hope on over to the gym.

Very cool!! I agree, I have to workout with my toddler running around sometimes and I can't always give it my all, but my hubby tries to help me out as much as he can. Enjoy your membership. I hope it really helps you out.

After trying to work out at home I deceided to join a gym instead. I think working out at my house was more of a distraction than anything else. Kids need to get bathe, Eat dinner, help with homework. My wife had been going to the gym and said thats what she needed to get away from all the madness. LOL. So we will trade off handling the kids. I will go first and when i get back she goes and vice versa. Hopefully I can stick with it..
