With small children it seems to be a exhuasting task of trying to keep them surprised each year. The oldest still believes in xmas and santa and thats great. I love that day when we sit around the xmas tree and unwrap gifts. The adults do secret santa but they get to give each other a wish list. I love getting a couple of work days off to be with the kids and family.

I really *want* to love it. Every year I tell myself this year will be different.
I just get so exhausted by all that needs to be done and by everyone's expectations. I feel like I don't have time (or energy) to stop and enjoy the season and time with family.
Maybe next year....
I absolutely love this time of year....I love giving gifts to my family and friends just to see their faces....it's priceless....I shop for my entire family...and I like giving the gifts I know they wouldn't buy for themselves....I sometimes give gift cards or cash one person this year is getting cash and his father is getting a gift card...I'm finished shopping for everyone except one of my sons....he wants the ipod touch so I'm going to pick that up this weekend...Some times I wrap and sometimes I don't....this year I'm not wrapping....being lazy I guess.....I love being in the stores I love the Christmas music and it's just fun but then I like shopping in any season
What about you how do you feel about this time of the year
