Well this is the first year it is open the public. Usually it was just a trade show that Game Stop Managers would attend. There are letting about 6,000 peope in to this one for 35 bucks and 100 if you want to be a VIP which includes a private area to game and get to cut the line for certain signings as well as attend 30 minute forum. The bad thing is that it is only for 5 hours. So being the first time open to the public it may blow up like Penny Arcarde or E3. I doubt but who knows. Tema you have to go the gamestop website and click reward card and it takes you to th site and there is a banner for the event.

The only GameStop events I've been to were the midnight releases. I know they have some big release events in some larger cities, but usually besides for tournaments and nerds gathering, there wasn't much of an event to the GameStop Events I've been to.. Hopefully the expo is alot more exciting!

Now I know its not E3 or PAX but for the first time every Game Stop is opening its doors to the public for their video game Expo. I have registered to go and will have to see how it goes being the first public event. Has anyone been to events prior for Gamestop. I am curious on what I should be expecting. Let me know.
