ME3 ::bold underline underline) - for many spoileriffic reasons I won't get into here :3. When your 3 main endings use 95% of the same footage with a different tint, there's a problem. This is especially regrettable on high profile game like ME3.It doesn't help that pre-release the developers made the ending sound so unique and incredible, "not an A,B,C" endings formula ( which is exactly what we got).
Similarly, I sunk a lot of hours into Thousand Arms back in the day (RPG/dating sim), and learning that all the choices you make have absolutely no impact on the ending you get was frustrating!
I would also nominate Kotor 2, Jade Empire, half the Square-enix franchise, and Halo 2.
I know I shouldn't complain...I remember the old nes games and the bevy of "thank you" screens they had, but augh :( a bad ending really hurts re-playability for me as I (mostly) play rpgs.
Edit: Just to clarify on square-enix, I adore their games, but man, many of the endings are of questionable content. :)
