Thanks for the reply. I did try swapping out the batteries for new ones, but it didn't help. I think the sensors must have gone bad or something. They aren't staying connected long enough to even complete one rep of the warm up anymore. Of course I don't have my Walmart receipt :( so I guess I'll have to take it back to the store and just hope they'll give me a refund anyway. I don't mind store credit, it's not like I can't spend $10 at Walmart on something else. I just don't want to be stuck with the thing when I can't use it at all. It was a pretty neat program when it worked. I was really hoping to use it for strength training, but I guess I'll just have to do something else.

No excuses!

Well, I'm not familure with the PS3 Version of Active 2, but it sounds like the batteries might be bad? It's the easiest thing to check, though inconvenient. Usually when any of my batteries start to go bad in a wireless device the first thing they lose is connection. Otherwise, It could be interferrance of some sort, or if it connects to the PS3 using bluetooth it could be fighting other devices (I know I used up my 7 bluetooth device limit pretty quickly).

I have the 360 version, and the only problems I have is it not tracking me very well with the kinect. It tends to lose me when I lay down for situps, so I have to stand back up to get retracked, then lay back down, then hope it picks up my leg movement (I usually end up doing 20 more than I'm suppose to before I realize all it wants me to do is waggle my foot to count as a situp).

Hi, I purchased the AE Active 2.0 for PS3 a little while ago but only got to use it like 4 or 5 times and now it already seems to be giving me problems. The trackers won't stay connected with the system so every 30 seconds I have to press x to reconnect. Does anyone else have this problem? Maybe I should try to take it back to the store. Any suggestions? I purchased it new and put new batteries in it when I bought it. Do I need to remove the batteries while I'm not using it?

No excuses!
