Thanks again guys. I went and checked on the WW but it is still a large chunk of change that I am unable to make at the time. I am going to try to save money and sign up for it in a few months.

I think we all lose momentumn sometimes but its getting it back that is hard at first. But once you get started you are like a jaggernaut and keep moving forward. I have a very similar story where I got down to 275 and I am now up to 330. So I can understand the frustration you are going through. Good luck.

Nicole,
WW has a promotion right now. It is waving the sign up fee (almost $30) with a 3 month paid commitment. I know it's a chunk for a lot of people all at once but it does give the opportunity to check it out and see if it is going to work without having to fork out the sign up fee. I'm not a fan of programs that make you pay a sign up fee when you also have to pay a monthly "subscription" fee. One of the reasons I didn't like the last gym I was a member of and that sign up fee was more like $60 (something they didn't say anything about until it was all over).
Anyway, just a thought.

Thanks to all of you that gave me advice on my issues. I would like to do weight watchers also but finances do not permit. I am still pushing my way through but I am feeling like it is a pointless effort, lets hope I'm wrong.

I blame it on the winter blues...I'm only in my 3rd week of my diet and I'm also getting lazy with it.

I just wanted to let you know that I lost 40 lbs. using weightwatchers. I have been a lifetime member for 3 yrs. now. The new points system that they have changed to is easier than the program that I started on. I attended meetings, and you get lots of helpful info from other members. I joined sparkpeople more to help me track my nutrients that I consume. I still attend meetings weekly. I don't have to attend but once a month, but I like going and weighing in. It helps me keep on track.

NICOLECHAPAI - Like others commented already, this can happen (and does happen) to many of us over time. The trick really is to push yourself back into good routines before things get out of hand. Maybe you need to change up your exercises for more variety that might keep you interested. Same thing with the nutrition, I tend to fall into a trap of eating the same thing over and over; now I really concentrate on making different things to keep some variety.

I wish you all the best. Is there something we can do to help? Just let us know.

I am trying hard to stay on track and focused on my goals but it's so hard when I get on the scale week after week and nothing has changed and I go to buy new clothes and the size has change since the last time. I would really like to see some results soon. I have a friend who started NutraSystem 2 weeks ago and she can already tell a difference in the way her clothes fit. Everyone is different but seeing something, somewhere would be nice.

Today is a new day. I can do it.

I think it happens to all of us. I am back on Sparkpeople after doing really well and then going on a cruise and just blowing it all. I have a hard time getting motivated during the winter too.

I lost momentum some time ago. I know how you feel. I am trying to get back to it with the BLC challenge although I had a horrible weekend as far as eating goes.
Frankly, I'm considering trying out the WW points system since that isn't so much of a "diet" and you get to eat everyday stuff, in moderation.
I think the points system will be more flexible and since fruits and veggies are free in the system there isn't any reason to be hungry or unsatisfied.
I also know a couple of people using this plan and they are doing great. One of them lost 85 lbs in a year and she looks and feels great and is now in the "maintenance" phase of the program. She feels it is something she can do for life and is happy with it.

I am losing my momentum in my diet. I went from counting every bite and calorie playing ufc training every day to not wanting to do any of it. emoticon
