I just want to feel better about myself this year. An overall healthier me, is what I'm looking for.

So I suppose my main goal would be to find a few fruits/veggies that I'll actually eat.

Megami76, 1.5 pounds per week till the middle of the year sounds doable but it going to require alot of effort by to reach. 1 should be the goal per week but I think you can do it if you put your mind to it and stick to it. 6 months sounds like a long ways away but if you keep your goal to 1.5 per week I think you should get there.

MEGAMI76...my advice would be to find an activity or a variety of activities that you enjoy! I love my xbox kinect games, but everyone has to find their own favorite way to get the exercise in. Then commit to at least 10 minutes/day as often as you can. I find if I can just get started, I end up doing much more! Good luck!

My weight loss goal is to lose about 40 lbs, and then I'd be happy. I'm giving myself until June to do it -- which is 6 months. Do you guys think that's reasonable?

I just want to be healthier. I think my problem right now is getting passed the tired feeling and exercising. I need to find an activity that I can be consistent with. Any tips?

I want to lose 40lbs over the course of this year. I'm aiming for the first 10 by my birthday 2/25, and I'm running a half-marathon 2/26 so that should help!

So what is your weight loss goal for 2012. I know alot of people want to be heathier but how do you determine that without setting up benchmarks. Let us know what you you want to accomplish this year and how you plan to do it. If feasible I think everyone should aim for .5 lbs a week up to 2lbs at the most. But thats just me want you all to get to your goals. Good luck.
