May 31st is the day that Sony says they will have the PSN network up and running.

We just went ahead and canceled our PSN credit card. This whole thing makes the husband and I mighty glad that we're mostly on the Xbox!

This is getting painful, even for someone like me not on PSN. I heard they published several pieces of personal info (not CC info) online too, over the weekend. Nothing more than what you find in a telephone book, but still.

On the other hand, I've noticed a bunch of regular PS3 users using OnLive in the meantime. I've met a few folks that went and got a used 360 controller, plugged it into their computer and had at it. Most of them seem to be playing Homefront to fill that Call of Duty void they are feeling.

Last word from Sony is that they have stopped yet another hack attack over teh weekend. I think they will have the network up and running this month sometime. I will keep you update. Just make sure you keep checking your statements where you have credit card information store on PSN.
