My first system was the NES. XMas Day I cant remember the year though. LOL. I have gone over the friends houses prior to that to play on the atari but I dont think it ever caught my interest.

My brother got an SNES for his sixth birthday from our grandparents, so I was about three at the time. Super Mario World was our first game since it was a pack-in, and I fell in love. I ended up becoming the primary gamer of the house instead! My brother has outgrown his taste for games since, but not me!

I started playing pac man on the machines in the stores and knew when the system came out for home I had to have one...I would beg my mom for quarters everyday to go and play pac man....

I always loved board and card games...good since my childhood was pre-computerized anything. First computer games was the original Pong. Hooked from then on.

I had a Colecovision in elementary school, if that counts. lol I didn't play it a whole lot, though.
I played DnD a couple of times with some friends in high school. Then I went to a larp via a college boyfriend (I thought it would be creative like acting, and didn't realize it would be a "game").

Then I married an uber-geek and it was all over!! xD

I remember this mermaid game where the mermaid was in a cage and the dolphin had to help her. Also, SwordQuest too.

We always had an Atari in my house, and when I was a kid I used to watch my uncle play all the way through Super Mario Bros in one shot, then we "inherited" his NES.

My biggest starter though, when I was able to use the computer properly and read was RoD. I don't know if any of you have ever played a MUD before, but it was awesome. I met my husband on there.

I remember playing Pong when it came out!
I played D&D and when RPG games started coming out for the home computers started playing them.
My first console was a Nintendo and had the original Gambe Boy before that.

Just wanted to put this out there so we get to know each other a bit better. How did you get into gaming?
