I read at least part of your blogs...don't know if I finished them or not, though. I think some of that is the limits of the sensor on the kinect, though--I have a bit of problems with "Your Shape" on some of the leg stuff too. Admittedly, I wear "yoga pants" that have a bit of looseness to them, so that blurs the motion a bit and it has a harder time with it.

If you check out my BLOG, I have a pretty long review of my experiences with the Kinect 360 version of the game. (I was the one having "knee raise" issues).

The biggest drawbacks on the Kinect are:
1) Sensor doesn't catch everything - which can be frustrating if you want to "score" points
2) The body scan feature simply doesn't work. You will need a tape measure and enter these manually. Of course, you don't do this every time - so it isn't a deal breaker.

I've just picked-up the EA Active 2 game to test and compare. I think that if you are a huge Bob-fan, then the BL360 might be a good choice - due to the motivation it would provide. It's going to give you a workout! That's for sure. It just might not give you the points you want and Bob might get a little annoyed at you.

Oh - the other option is to go through the exercises, figure out which ones work in your space, and then create a custom workout. I ended-up taking out some of the leg-raises and adding a workout ball routine.

Yeah, at first, I was thinking going for the EA one. But then reading about how personal it is working out with Bob. That just sounds so motivating to me. I love Bob. He is so cool.

BTW, do you have a gamer tag? Sounds like you are on a lot. I'm Razmigg. Feel free to add me.

Really? I heard someone had a hard time getting it to register right--that it seemed to be done super-quick and wasn't very accurate. But then I read someone's spark blog about it saying that it took a bit to get used to, but then it worked pretty good. That person had problems with the front knee raises not registering, but then I have a bit of problems in "Your Shape" with them and some of the kicks because of my yoga pants--even though they're "snug", they're still baggy enough at the lower legs to really blur the motion to the camera.

I'm not sure why, but the BL series actually motivates me to move some...even though I've been a while since using mine, the BL ones have more appeal than the EA Active ones...and that has nothing to do with the actually games, but just my motivation/desire to play them, lol.

I've heard some great things about the one for Kinect. There are video diaries, voice commands, etc. For instance, Bob asks how you are doing, and you just reply with your voice. The only issue I've heard is the menu system takes a little getting used to. Otherwise, people seem to really like it. Not to mention, the graphics are better.

I have the first Biggest Loser game for Wii, but was wondering about the new ones. I've heard mixed reviews for both, so far.

So, anyone know about "Biggest Loser Challenge" (for Wii) or about "Biggest Loser Ultimate Workout" (for 360)? Are they good or bad? Are they basically the same game but for different systems/different setups?
