I'm close! I have been doing Weight Watcher's and trying to add in activity as much as I can to help the progress along. Like I either step on my rebox stair over and over while I play games or watch TV. Or also when not playing a too invilved game attention wise I jump on a mini trampoline. HAHA but I have fallen off a couple times playing Mass Effect HAHAHA. But just racking up the fitness and controlling portions has really been key together to help get close to my goal. I currently have WW goal at 175 but "personal" health goal is 170. SO very close to my Weight watcher's goal.
Play now, make the rules later!
When I started I was over 330 lbs. My official weight was 312 when I got a scale at home but the "beginning weight" was from the physical and drug test I had to have to get my current job and it was 332. I joined SP just a couple of months after moving to Lubbock for the job.
When I weighed in for the Biggest Loser on Friday I was a tick over 226 lbs. I have been down to 218 before the relationship I had been in for over a year ended. I lost focus and have not been eating well. I was doing okay before then, although I had plateaued and was not losing, after starting back to college and working on my B.S. I've also been in physical therapy for bulging disks in my neck that are compressing the nerve roots on my left side. That's been going on for over 2 months. I kept hoping it would get better but in May it was so bad I had taken 3 hydrocodone just to get back from Dallas and still cried all the way to Wichita Falls. There was no way I could drive the further 3.5 hrs to Lubbock and I ended up staying there for the night at friends and got up early and left by 6:00 am to get to work by 9:30. I immediately called and made a doctors appointment for a couple of days later. Then an MRI and the p/t. So, lots going on and not currently losing but hoping the new Biggest Loser will help get me back on track. These challenges keep me focused and are a GREAT motivator for me. I'm deeply appreciative of Tema and Jose for running them for us. The prizes are an added boon but, for me, not the primary reason I participate.
So, where does that leave me? Well, I want to get down to the 160-170 lb range and evaluate again if this is good for me or if I want to try for the 150's. That leaves me another 60-70 lbs to lose over the 107 or so that I've already lost.
Thank you to everyone here for helping me to stay on track toward reaching my goals!
