The semi-pro beta testers I know are not in the Bay Area, or even California. I do know a lot of people in the Bay Area, including some who volunteer at the GDC every year, but they do not do testing. I am not sure it's a geographical thing, unless you're talking about lab usability testing, where your eye movements, for example, are tracked as you're navigating the game or its instructions.

Hi,

Are there any gamers in the San Francisco Bay Area?

Just curious... it seems like a lot of the bay area game companies are doing more focus testing these days and was wondering if anyone has taken part...
