Yeah, I can't also can't believe CoD 4 is still $44 used at GS. I sold mine and now want it back.

Check out Half.com for Fallout 3. There are $39 copies for new and about $35 for used. However, if you can wait for the GotY, it might be worth it. There are at least 2 of them I heard are great. One raises your level cap and the other is on a spaceship.

I'm about lvl 7 out of 20 in the game and it is a blast so far. I love the V.A.T.S. system and the slow mo gore.

Regarding Oblivion...wait...I better save this one for a seperate post....

Fallout 3 is still $55 used at my local Gamestop, but that should drop once the GotY edition comes out, which I think is due in October. The GotY edition is a great deal - you get all of the DLC ($50 worth) and the regular game, all for $60. But if the regular edition is $30, I think I'm just going to go with the regular edition anyway. I know I'll have plenty of gameplay from the regular edition, so the extra $30 for the GotY edition, even if it contains $50 of DLC, wouldn't be worth it for me.

Love it! And I wasn't that into Oblivion. Getting a critical hit on the V.A.T.S. is always satisfying...nothing like a slow motion kill to give you that warm & fuzzy feeling inside.

As for the music, I personally go with the erie music; it sets the tone for me. The other patriotic stuff is a little too campy for my taste.

I've been wanting to pick up Fallout 3 for a while, but I've been waiting for the price to drop some. I've heard nothing but good things about it, and I enjoyed Oblivion, so I'm looking forward to playing it.

The price probably got lowered because the Game of the Year edition is coming out, and will include the downloadable content that we would otherwise have to pay for. I think I may wait for that.

Wow! That's a great price! I'll have to check out of my PC can play it.

btw, is anyone interested in Borderlands? It's a new game coming out that is like Fallout. It has cars that you can drive and it plays a little more like a FPS shooter. There's a good preview at Joystiq...

AH, I know what you mean LOL. But I do enjoy the soundtrack. I'm a history major so listening to 40s top hits gets me super happy. =D

LOL I love that song on there! :) I wish in the DLC they added more music to those radio stations! It does get repetitive after awhile.

Play now, make the rules later!

Haha, I know what you mean RPWHEELER. I'm gonna get the DL content too. I hear it's well worth it! I'm glad I'm not the only one obsessed with Fallout! I even changed my ringtone to: So bongo, bongo, bongo, I don't wanna leave the Congo, oh no no no no no. XDDD

Love it! Finished it rather quickly...I think it took about two weeks total. But I hear the DLC is amazing and fun. I started doing the Broken Steel quest line but I am getting distracted by my hack and slash games :) I'll get back to Fallout soon but definately worth getting!!! I'd wait for a game of the year addition though with all the content in one disc. The DLC is ten bucks each and is getting expensive on 360.

Play now, make the rules later!

All of the guys (3) in my house play it off and on. Our roommate played it continually for weeks to a point where he wouldn't sleep for 24+ hours (57 year old guy mind you).
I don't play it myself, but I do enjoy watching them play it because the graphics are so intense.
We play this game on our PCs

i rented this on PS3 and loved it. Sadly, I never bought it because I thought it would take too much time to complete (a sad truth for me these days).

It was on sale via Steam recently and almost bought it since I like the fact that you can download some cool mods for it (like faster animation during the VATS shooting scenes). If it goes on sale again, I'd definitely get it.
