I think I wanted a job at Nintendo since I was very young. However I am not sure if I could live up there in Washington State? Not sure if that is where they are located at. Brrr.

I though this was interesting. Wish I was at the top of Nintendo making the big bucks.

Average Nintendo Employee Earns $1.6 Million
Posted by John Manalang - Tuesday, September 16, 2008 8:03 AM

Global banking and management firm Goldman Sachs has been a very prestigious company since it was founded in 1869. Working for a company such as Sachs would make your wallets phat indeed, but as the Financial Times reveals, working for Nintendo would make your wallets phatter.

This year, an average employee from Nintendo will generate a yearly income of $1.6 million which is more than the $1.24 million income an average Goldman Sachs employee earned last year. The fact that their own products are outsourced, such as the Nintendo Wii, DS and first-party titles, means that the company is capable of making a huge amount of money with a smaller staff than Sachs.

But due to Nintendo's shareholders, the mean sum for Nintendo employees was $90,900 compared to Goldman Sachs's $660,000. With the Nintendo Wii and DS consoles still in high demand, employees from the big N are looking forward to a hefty holiday bonus this coming season.
