The same makers made Alien Hominid, which released last year on xbox arcade. It is a fast paced, shoot-em up 2D game that is pretty fun. As with Castle Crashers, the artwork is pretty cool. The game is hard though. I beat it on easy, but barely.

What is also cool about Alien Hominid is that it comes with a 200 level game done in similar style of N+. And it comes with another game that you guide a missle, but it isn't that complex. Kind of like 3 games in one.

I've seen this Castle Crasher develop more and more as time progresses. I can't wait to see what the final product looks like.

Speaking of xbox arcade news, Megan Man 9 and Bionic Commando Reloaded should be coming out soon too.

This Game is still working its way through certification, but should be distributed in a month or few. But it's got me very pumped up for an XBox live Arcade game.
Dev Blog:

Anyhoo, the game reminds me of a "Ninja Turtle" or "Simpsons" 2D Arcade-style, Side-Scrolling Beat'em up. You have a selection of 22 "heroes" with 40 unlockable weapons, Level-ups, Animal-orb powerups, and many more unique things. It looks crazy deep for a 2D game, and worth the buy even if it was a $30 game (in my opinion at least). You should check out the site, you can tell the game was created by gamers with some cool Ideas. (Dan Paladin does ALL the art, it's a very cute 2d style)
