Well I should be getting them before the 4th of July weekend. Woo hoo. Yeah I am not sure why Heavenly Sword got such a bad review. The only complaints at the game store were that the game was short. But arent most campaign games doing that to make way for the multiplayer.

There are a lot of factors at play, but I usually compare:

1. Price
2. Price devaluation (if you want to sell it when u r done)
3. Graphic output vs my tv`s capacity
4. Hours: long games with the 360 controller hurt your hands (it`s too heavy). Also note some PS3 games have that "shake" thing that I HATE
5. Freeze history (won`t buy a 360 game that becomes a freezing issue thread on ign forums)
6. Online content availability/price
7. Achievements

Lobo, I quite liked Heavenly Sword. It`s like an easy GoW! Very good graphics, surprisingly good acting (voices are really good!) and an encompassing story, it is worth it. I don`t know why it got such bad reviews, it is a very good game. The only problem I had with it: too short, and rather easy. But then, if you are not versed in action games a-la DMC, then the difficulty level is good.

Uncharted was fun, and at times funny, but gotta say that Yhatzees review was right on the money!

Let me know what you think!

If you *think* you can do something, or that you cannot, either way, *you are right*

Now for something like TNA Impact, I want it on 360, since it has more moves and has button controls. I think I would want to lean to Wii for things that are really cool to motion control (like a light saber), but somethings are better with buttons...ever see the Wii Smackdown Vs. Raw commercials? *rolls eyes*

I dont know Ryan. I think I was misled by the title half.com I would have though it was 50 percent off and I am only seeing 20 for the games i want.

Not sure if you all check it, but half.com is a great place to pick up used games. It is also a good place to sell games that you may want cash for.

I think that was one of the smartest moves they did; have the 360 controller workable with the PC.

Just curious, do your windows games achievement points combine with your xbox achievement points?

buying star wars unleashed for the wii so that you can pretend to swing a lightsaber around is like buying a car based on the fact it has pretty hub caps.

IMHO.

PC's have always been better at providing a solid platform for games. For the simple fact the configuration is always adaptable. If a game's requirements fall within those of my pc, I am more apt to get it for my pc. It helps that my 360 controller is plug and play. :)

That is a problem trying to decide what system to buy something for. I would have to say for the Star Wars game I would go with graphics. Yes the Wii has the wii remote being used as a light saber but rest to sure they are already playing a light saber only game for the Wii. I will be having the problem of choosing between all 3 systems.

When a game comes on several systems, which do you buy it on?

For instance, I bought Madden 08 for the Wii because I really like the game motions despite having horrible graphics in comparison to the 360 version.

For other games, I may go with the 360 for graphics and achievements.

For Star Wars Force Unleashed, I'm on the fence. These are going to be totally different games. One has graphics and three game/physics engines. The other has motion sensing controls.

When it comes to games, which system do you usually go with?

When it is a PC versus console, which do you go with?
