Maybe I can give you that detox that I will give Lobo as well? The body sometimes needs a jump start, and it is common that it is resilient to lose anything in the first weeks... Keep working on it, and re-arrange your routine around it. Maybe you need to walk a bit faster or longer, or drop more fats or white breads out of your diet, etc.

If you want to share your detailed plan, I`m sure we can all work together to figure out what would work best :)

If you *think* you can do something, or that you cannot, either way, *you are right*

ya. i took measurements of everything when i started walking 3 weeks ago at 290.

We must all suffer from one of two pains: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret. The difference is discipline weighs ounces while regret weighs tons.

If you keep up what you've been doing the last few days, I'll bet you see a difference real soon. Did you take measurements too? I need to do that myself; especially if I start throwing some more weight training into the mix.

Maybe you should make your limit 2000 instead of 2500. That extra 500 calories could make a huge difference.

i do have a lot of muscle. which still sucks. my calves, quads, and hamstrings, although chubby are probably 80% solid muscle. I'd have to say that most of my fat is in my belly and my butt. I also have a lot of muscle in my arms and shoulders. I am just hoping that someday soon before I loose my ambition that the fat starts to fall away in the places I need it to.

I do get less winded. I think we might be getting a treadmill soon which will help me like right now when i want to walk but can't cause i am at home with son alone. I also want to run, but I need some of this f at to go bye bye so I dont break my ankles.

Honestly, I do have more energy. I sleep better at night.

But I need this fat to disappear.

And lemme tell ya. The fat picture I took of myself IS my main encouragement. I SO want to have an after picture. I ant to be a success story since I haven't succeeded in much in my life.

You still on for some halo tonight? I played some social matches this afternoon and got promoted to private. It's kinda funny how using the matchmaking system I got hooked with a guy who had 50 achievements and was also in basic training. He won the first game against 3 others by over 15 frags. I came in second at like 9 frags. emoticon He was hard to kill. Even when I swear I would dual-wield two guns and empty both clips into him he would still get me. Looking for you around 7 pm (CST). I am a patient man.

And yeah we can buddy up. If you promise to take it easy on me this legendary weekend.

Maybe you are all just muscle. lol

Ok, sorry, I know this is a bummer. I walked over to your spark page and also saw how diligent you have been about tracking your calories. CONGRATS and WAY TO GO! This takes a lot of discipline and your should be commended accordingly.

Let's ignore the scale for a little bit and just keep focusing on doing the right things. It'll pay off. If anything, how do you FEEL? Do you feel better? Do you get less winded? Do you feel like you have more energy to play with your son?

Someone else in our group just posted a thread about buddying up. I may not meet the 18-20 year old female requirements for that one, but I'm in your same range. Would you be interested in buddying up? We can send each other messages on our pages, e-mail, whatever. You may even see a message come through on your xbox. If I get too annoying, tell me to back off.

Finally, your spark page is cool. After finals I will unveil my new page, which will include pictures of yours truly. Not that you all want any, but it might be motivating to post some fat shots and soon to be skinny shots.

Ok....this is why I shouldn't probably sneak peaks at my weight before my weigh-in.

But in two days is my 3rd week of walking EVERY DAY (sometimes twice a day). I also do strength training. I have also been been managing on 1500-2500 calories a day for the last week.

Yet, my weight is NOT budging.
