This is a difficult subject.

Spark will have you believe that ALL diet supplements are evil.

Reality, as usual, is gray. Some chemicals, like Xenadrine, are actually really dangerous and you should avoid them.

Others, like carnitin, have no significant research to be recommended, but you can find that they PERSONALLY work for you.

Caffeine and such are short-time measures, so I would advise against them, or you will end up gaining all of it back. Protein shakes, carnitine, and such can actually make a difference: be informed, experiment, and find what works for your body!

If you *think* you can do something, or that you cannot, either way, *you are right*

Just a side not and not to preach but make sure you do A LOT of research before you start anything... and make sure you tell a loved one what you are doing...

A guy in my town died a few years ago from the side effects of diet pills.

Please, Please be careful!

I just take childrens gummy calcium and multivitamin suppliments... I get 4 gummy bears a day for 30 calories (and I eat them right before I work out for a little pre sweating treat). I tried diet pills in college but they never worked. My problem is not being hungry or eating all the time, just making poor choices about food and portions. I may not have been hungry on metabolife, but it didn't stop me from polishing off a club sandwich and fries for lunch.

I do have to thank these ridiculous caffiene pills I took one semester for keeping me awake. I was taking 21 credits, working, working out, AND doing theater. Never again though. A cup of coffee nowadays makes me jittery.

While it's up to you whether you want to try and jump start your weight loss with something extra, I would suggest sticking with something more natural like that green tea stuff, or only using it for a short time. I've heard also that a 3 day mini-fast (500-600 calories) can also jump start your weight loss, but I've never tried it. I like food too much! =) When I need a jump start, I just step up my exercise program. It's a little painful at first but my body usually gets used to it pretty quick and I usually net a good loss!

Well that the stuff they sell in mexico because it not illegal to have that in the diet pills down there. So yeah the ephedrin works its just the side effects that it has on good quantity of the population to have it pulled.

I take prenatal vitamins and iron because I'm anemic, but that's all.

I'm with you lobo, I keep having highs and lows way too often. I was thinking about taking stacker 3's but I don't think diet pills work a lick without ephedrine.

I dont take anything but I am starting to wonder if I should. I have been going in the opposite direction the past few weeks and it really is getting me frustrated.

I take a multivitamin and a fiber supplement.

I can't take diet pills because of the caffeine in them- drives my heart nuts and then I pass out... not so fun!

I'm taking a multi-vitamin does that count? :D

I can't take the others because I will get really bad leg cramps (I get them bad enough anyway if I am not *very* careful to monitor my water and potassium intake if I'm working out) no need to make a bad situation worse, if that makes sense

I was just wondering if any of you are using pills or diet aids for extra help.
During high school I used Xenadrine RFA-1 but I have discovered that they are now banned, they did work well. So do you guys use anything and if so anything work?
