I haven't played the Wii version of that game but the say the gun reload is a lot faster and shoots off faster than the other systems.

I am currently playing Resident evil 4. Really enjoy the game, but the controls get me killed sometimes. Not used to not being able to move and shoot.

Hope you end up with a new system :D

What are you playing in the PS2 then?

Aww, sorry to hear that. But like you said your ps2 wont feel so lonely for awhile. You can catch up on some of your old favorites!

Well, I bit the bullet and am getting the xbox fixed. I put in a request last week. They said they would send a box (they pay postage both ways) but no box yet. Well at least my ps2 isn't feeling lonely anymore.

best to all

Ugh, ours wouldn't open we had to call the company and the guy told us to basically beat it open! Then he proceeded to tell us that it would cost us 99 dollars for repairs as well. He said it would come with a new hard drive and a few other things. So we kinda decided we'll just keep beating it open until we absolutely have to get it repaired. Sounds good to me!

I have to aggree with Ryan on this. Microsoft will probrably be your best bet on repairing it. 99 dollars is always a lot better than buying a brand new system. You could take it to a game store and trade it up for an Elite. Those systems are the ones that have the least problems so far. Good luck. I hope that you can get that fixed.

Well, you could try leaving it running overnight, wrapped in a towel or two. Basically, MS extended the warranty to 3 years for the three red rings, which is a heat-related issue. That towel trick has been known to produce three rings. It may or may not work. Try googling xbox towel trick for details.

As for repair service, MS is probably your cheapest way out. Anything unauthorized could be seen as a mod and jeopardize your chances of getting booted off of xbox live.

I'm sorry to hear that. We had the same problem a few months ago and found out ours was covered by the warranty because microsoft added a year to all warranties because of issues with the boxes.
They ended up sending us a new one.

Any help with xbox 360 repair?
My xbox no longer recognizes discs. It makes an awful noise whenever i put in a disc.
It is past the warranty and I don't have the red ring.
Is there someplace I can get it fixed? Microsoft will be charging $99 to repair it.

Thanks
