AWESOME! *does the ever shrinking butt dance* yet another way to track my progress!! I need less food to function!!

I realize, there will cone a time where this will not only plateau, but quite possibly reverse a bit and start going back up - but for now, it's something else to celebrate :D

The calorie requirements have to do with what weight you are now. You are supposed to change nutritional goals after every 10 pounds you lose. The bigger you are the more calories your body needs to function.

sure did :D I'm not sure how to adjust my activity (other than enter it in the tracker) and the weight is auto adjusting properly (when I update it every wednesday) :)

I'm getting enough information to make informed decisions and see where I am and how I'm progressing. I'm excited :D

thanks guys!

I`m in stage 4, and the stages were more about having a slow plan of action than anything else. It has nothing to do with your calorie intake, and more to do with slowly introducing you to new habits.

You should read the "stage overview" to understand where you are.

As mentioned, you should revise your exercise goals and your weight if you want to adjust calories.

Hope I helped! :D

If you *think* you can do something, or that you cannot, either way, *you are right*

thanks so much! that helps tremendously! I don't have to update quite yet - only lost 3lbs, but I will DEFINITELY keep an eye on it from now on!

This is a good question that I feel they don't address well enough.

From your start page, look to the bottom of the left column where it says "My Goals". The first one has your weight goal. It says something like "Go From 170 to 155 by 4/7/2008" (which is mine). Click on the change button, and that page can help you figure out your goals.

I mention this because once you have entered your planned amount of weekly exercising and goal weight (including how much you would like to lose per week), it will automatically update your calorie range.

It is wise to update like this whenever you increase or decrease your amount of fitness (like starting a new program at the gym) and at least every 10 pounds lost or so.

I'm coming to my team on this because I need some information and I'm not finding it (though I admit it could be because I'm not looking hard enough)

On sunday, I switched from Stage One (fast break) to Stage two. I noticed there are some things they want me to do (most of them I am already doing) but what I didn't notice was a reduction in calories or anything.

I Want to make sure I'm doing this right. Should that change.... ever? I got the values by going thorough the set up steps when I first made my account (well - when I first rededicated myself to this goal)

Has anyone ever progressed from stage 2 to 3 or later? Will this adjust or will it stay consistent? Right now I'm just concerned about maintaining my activity increase but I want to also make sure I'm not sabotaging my efforts by eating too little or too much.

Thanks for any feedback
