I had it for the original xbox and it played online pretty well. Each person's game runs the song locally, so there wasn't lag and you could see the other person next to you and it felt live and smooth. If you ever played Tetris or any puzzle games online, it plays very similar.

Not only does the xbox version have online play, but it has a lot more downloadable content. OK, the Wii has none to date, but you never know.

Are any ddr games available on-line? The only way I could see making it an on-line game would be to do the same song in two locations and then be able to compare scores. ddr is never going to be friendly to any kind of lag. And there will always be the possibly of lag with on-line games.

Well it was out of range to qualify for the 4 for 20 range.

How much are they used? $5 or $10?

RE4 huh? What made you choose that over the Wii edition? Price? I did pick up the Wii edition one (never played before) and it is a cool game and all. Only thing is the controls. When aiming, you have to use both the stick and the pointer. I like Metroid where the stick moves the body and you only have to use the pointer to aim.

Yes, you need a GameCube memory card for GameCube games. You cannot save to the Wii's internal memory or the memory card. I had to buy two GameCube memory cards; one for Animal Crossing, and another for my other GC games.

As for my weight, I'm down another .5 pounds and currently at 264.

Ryan, I think you are right about having their system have a better online service. I mean theyhave the wi fi built in and why not use the power of it. We will wait and see for that. I am pretty sure they can add on a hard drive later on beceuase everything runs off of programs. I am sure you would be able to plug in a hard drive to the gamecube slots for memory. I guess now I have a question. Do you need a game cube memory card to save games or can you use the wii memory block.

PS. Ryan, I need you weight for the biggest loser contest

WiiFit should be cool. It would be nice to see some other applications for it. For instance, a skating board game where you skate and use your hands to grab power ups, etc. Or, a Green Goblin game, where you ride on the hover board and "throw" grenades using hand motions, etc. etc. etc.

I don't think Wii DDR will ever go online. Maybe the next game, but not Hottest Party.

OK, here are things I would fix about the Wii. #1 Get a hard drive, even if external. I would pay for it so I could download demos, etc. #2 fix the online. If they had decent online games, I would play a lot more. Madden, Mario Strikers, I think that is about it so far.
