completed the warrior dash. Im still battling my injuries from this years training and walked nearly all of the 5k. Completed all of the obstacles and am bruised to high heaven but it was great

Today we took out our kayaks and did 3 miles or so, a 10 mile bike ride and 1.5 mile walk w our dogs. We are going to make it a point to walk our dogs minimum 3 times a week.

DH and I are making a workout program beginning today in addition to doing something for us (like kayaking and walking the dogs). Beginning this week we are doing two weeks of 20 miles MIN on the bike (10m today), 4 miles MIN running, and two days of strength training. Every two weeks the mileage increases until the week of new years.

This winter has been SO warm that I've been able to take the puppy out her walk just about EVERY day. There are only a few days I've missed. Today, went for that walk first thing this morning.

Wondering what kind of 5k/10k walks opportunities might be in store this spring? Anyone heard of any, yet?

I've used raking leaves as my exercise for the last couple days. ...Walks, too, b/c thankfully it's still warm enough to do that. With our rain we got, the leaves were wet...but, I figured that that was an even better work out. emoticon
