I'd check to see if there are any sounds studies on any of these though and under what condition and for whom they work.

Peppermint oil is supposed to be a carminative. So I would think peppermint would be one. Some of the peppermnt oil is infused into the water when you make tea.

Does anyone plant anything specifically for this reason? If so, what plants and how do you use them? My mom relies on Bean-o but I thought I'd try to find something more natural.
