If you are going to grow horehound be sure to cut off the flowers before they go to seed or it will spread all over.

I never planted it and I would be careful as it's a perennial herb and may spread all over your garden like mint does. I have lemon balm taking over my garden.

Has anyone ever tried growing horehound? I know it's an herb, but I've never known anyone who's grown it. In fact, I've never even actually seen it! I'd like to find out where to get it so I can plant it next year. Any ideas?
