I ended up getting two types of traps that are supposed to be used around the time the trees are blooming. They got good reviews online. The one is called Red Sphere trap the other is called tanglefoot coddling moth trap. I'll put them in the trees tomorrow but won't know for a couple of months how they work.
Thanks for the feedback.

We have the same problem. This year we asked about remedies at our local nursery, and they prescribed an organic spray - can't remember the name of it though! I'm hoping that does it. They also suggested traps that you hang in the tree. Maybe you could ask your local nurseries. Good luck!

We lost 90% of our apples to coddling moth larvae in our apples last year so I decided I need to take steps to prevent this. There are a lot of organic compatible products online but I'm not sure where to start. Our trees are blooming now. Does anyone have experience with this?
