I LOVE tomatoes, especially, grape & cherry, so thanks for the recipe! My problem wasn't growing them, but harvesting them before the magpies took them, they never ate them, though, because I would find them all over my yard! Little brats! Hopefully, next year!
DH loves sweet cherry tomatoes for salads and snacking, so he planted 11 (!) cherry/grape tomato plants and now we have them coming out the ears. Every day we pick about a quart.
I have dried several quarts (in my dehydrator) but my favorite thing to do with them is make soup. At the risk of sounding immodest, I have come up with a really good soup recipe using cherry tomatoes, and NO peeling! It freezes and cans beautifully. If you want to check it out its called Rustic Tomato Herb Soup. http://recipes.sparkpeople.com/recipe-de tail.asp?recipe=749192
